Mong Thongdee was born in Burma-Thailand border. His parents were farmers and they originally from Shan State, Burma. They enter into Thailand illegally since 1995 because of civil war in Shan State. Mong’s parents end up working at Lychees farm Frang district at the border before they move into second capital of Thailand, Chiang Mai. Back in 2009, Mong Thongdee was participated paper airplane competition in regional and national level and he won the first price in both competitions. He represents Thailand to compete paper airplane in Japan. But Mong Thongdee couldn’t make his trip to Japan. Thai authority didn’t allow him to travel because his parents were migrant worker from Burma and Mong was not Thai citizen.
